My daughter attended Sunflowers full time from 7 months to last week when she finished for school. Highly recommended the nursery, it's a great environment for the kids and the team are all lovely. My daughter had some fantastic experiences while at sunflowers including Eco Committee, Forest School, Dancing teacher and countless other activities over the years. My daughter has attended sunflower nursery for almost a year and since starting I have watched her build meaningful relationships with both staff and children. The care she receives is second to none, the support I have been given has been amazing! The staff here genuinely care for each and every child and do everything in their power to support the children’s development. There’s no other nursery I could recommend as highly as I do this one!
Highly recommend this nursery for the amazing team they are and outstanding care and service provided. My son will miss you all. He was so happy during the 4 years he attended the nursery, he's made so many friends, learned so many things and his progress is unbelievable and it’s all because of you. The outdoor space is excellent, the range of activities offered to my child is brilliant. Very friendly staff help to reassure the children and are very approachable for parents too.
My son has been at sunflower nursery for almost 3 years. This week is his last week before he starts his next journey onto school. He had his nursery graduation yesterday and I was amazed by the amount of effort put in by all staff and children. The staff are and always have been absolutely amazing, so approachable if there's any concerns. The manager is very much involved with the children too and has built a good relationship with my boy. His keyworker needs a special mention. She has been amazing with him and has built up a brilliant relationship whilst also catering for extra needs that had been noticed by staff within the nursery.
However, it's unfair for me not to praise every single person working within the nursery, they are all amazing and communicate well with each other so regardless of who I approach, they know how his day was and are very good at passing this information on. It's unbelievable to see how far he has came in the years he's been at sunflower nursery and it is a credit towards all staff using a nurturing, loving and caring approach. This made me very comfortable leaving him from day one as I knew he would be provided with the care he needed. The nursery are also very much involved in the community with things like forest school and the eco committee, whilst also extra learning opportunities within the nursery such as Spanish.
I could go on and on about all the amazing work they do every day and how many opportunities are given to the children. Want to thank each and every member of staff for the contribution they have had to his development and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a placement for their child. Thank you all from us, it's been a pleasure for him to have been cared for by you all and I know how much he will miss you all.
Myself and my husband - and most importantly my daughter - couldn't recommend Sunflower enough! Sadly our daughter is about to finish here to start school, and we are all feeling excited about school, but very sad to leave this lovely nursery.
For us, the most important thing is that our daughter is happy, and in Sunflower she absolutely is - happy, secure, confident, settled, and excited for nursery every day! The nursery itself is attractive, spotless and constantly being updated, and decorated for every occasion which is brilliant and the children just love it.
The team are fantastic - friendly, interested, creative, invested, innovative and loving. Our daughter has had just the loveliest key workers who have helped her grow and develop while having fun and feeling loved and cared for - so approachable, so dedicated in their role. Such a lovely mentor before starting school. Thank you so much.
If you are considering Sunflower for your little one, don't have any concerns. My daughter has made wonderful memories, great friends and has learned so much in preparation for her future. Her recent graduation was one of the best days she has had, so magical with really special gifts and keepsakes. A lovely end to her wonderful time at nursery.
